Every frame is the argument.

Root & Spice

An in-studio concept brand, developed end to end. The brief we set ourselves: make turmeric feel like a spark — one product, one burst of spice, twelve seconds. Shot at f/nothing, because there was no camera in the room.

Studio Series — Fragrance

Sage & Stone

An in-studio concept brand, art-directed to a fragrance house standard. Glass, silver light, restraint — the look borrows from stone and winter branches, quiet surfaces that let the bottle carry the frame. Nothing moves quickly; the product is the loudest thing in the room.

Client work — Jewelry

Three pieces, nine rooms of light

A working jeweler's line, re-staged without a shoot — chiaroscuro on black marble, silk, plaster, amber hour. Thirty finished images in all; every stone, clasp and bead her actual work. Accuracy is the deliverable, atmosphere is the craft.

Her Instagram views and likes rose markedly within days of posting this collection.

What we do

Photography without the shoot day.

Photography

Campaign stills staged and lit like a set — built from one photo of your product. Twenty finished images per sprint, accurate to the stone, the label, the stitch.

Film

Twelve-second commercials made for the feed — hooks, cutdowns, and variants for each placement. The files are yours to keep: run them in paid social now, on the product page and in email long after that.

Ongoing work

Once a campaign look exists, it extends. Brands that need to stay visible keep a steady run of stills and film coming — same direction, same standard, on whatever cadence the year demands.

The approach

Taste is the constant. Speed is the byproduct.

  1. 01

    Direction

We learn the brand and set the look — palette, light, mood — before a single frame exists. This is where the work is actually made.

  2. 02

    Craft

Staging, lighting, and rendering, held to one rule: the product in the frame is your product — same shape, color, materials, label.

  3. 03

    Iteration

Once the direction is set, variations come quickly — no reshoot, no second setup. You choose from a set, not a single take: nine hook variants in every sprint.

  4. 04

    Delivery

Seven business days. Every asset is reviewed by a person before it leaves the studio — the same eye that directed it signs off on it.

Engagement

Flat price. Stated up front.

A single studio shoot day runs $3,000–$8,000 — before retouching.

The studio

Manuel is the creative director behind Still & Motion, based in Charlotte, NC. The craft was never the shutter — it was the eye: light, composition, restraint, knowing what to leave out. The instrument is new; the standard isn't.

Imagery is AI-crafted and human-directed. Work made for our own studio is labeled Studio Series; client work is labeled client work. That's the whole policy.
